G20 Summit, 30-31 October 2021 – Media Accreditation Open

Media accreditation for the G20 Summit of Heads of State and Government, taking place in Rome from Saturday 30 October to Sunday 31 October, has opened.

Any journalists, photographers and camera operators wishing to access the Media Centre and cover the media programme and final press conference in person are kindly requested to complete the accreditation process by visiting https://g20italia2021.org/ or the ‘Accreditation’ section on the G20 website (/), by no later than 20 September 2021.

Update: Media accreditation will reopen at 10:00 on Monday 27 September until 17:00 on Wednesday 29 September.

When registering (if this is the first time you are registering for an Italian G20 Presidency event), all the requested information must be submitted, together with a scanned copy of the following documents (in .jpeg or .pdf format only; max. 2MB):

–        valid passport or ID document (mandatory);

–        assignment letter from the media organisation of reference (also mandatory for freelancers);

–        photograph (in .jpeg format only; max. 2MB);

–        professional card.

Journalists and operators will receive confirmation of their accreditation.

Information on the agenda and topics of the summit, access to the Media Centre, the issuing and delivery of passes and attending press meetings in person will be provided at a later date.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please note that specific rules and limitations may apply regarding the number of journalists and media operators accredited or allowed to attend in person, the media spaces to be assigned and access checks. Media attending the G20 summit will be obliged to comply with all public health regulations in force at the time.
